Lithuania win against Latvia – who was the best?

Lithuania won their friendly game opener against Latvia after an overtime. Not everything worked a 100 percent well, but it was better than I expected.  Tomas Delininkaitis and Andrius Mažutis were the two players that surprised me – Tomas found his shot and made a couple of nice passes whilst playing at the point guard and Mažutis was very impressive on defense with steals and offensive fouls for the Latvians. I bet he was a pain in the ass for the Latvian guards, when they were defended by him. Paulius Jankūnas didn’t show what he’s capable of and might be a little out of form compared to other Lithunians, so was Mantas Kalnietis – he didn’t do anything that was expected from him. Andrius Mažutis had a better performance than Kalnietis, both on defense and offensively – the ball was rotating faster when Andrius was on the court, the team had a lot of fast-break points after his steals. Mindaugas Lukauskis was also disappointing- missed (almost?) all the shots, was slow on offense and didn’t create chances for others. His place might start to wobble.
